DIY Glow-in-the-dark Fort

September 25, 2014 by Alli Leave a Comment

Make a glow-in-the-dark fort for hours of fun!

Can I just start this post off by saying how hard it is to take pictures in the dark?? I’m pretty new to photography, and this one sure was a challenge! Most of the pics came out blurry and you couldn’t see much… haha. Well, I have a lot to learn 🙂

Regardless of my lackluster pictures, the kids sure had a blast! Around our house, we are all about sticking to our schedule. We have a pretty constant routine, and don’t vary from it much. But every once in a while, we throw caution to the wind and get a little crazy.

Last night was one of those times, and it was a blast. We cleared out a little corner of Sophie’s closet and stuck some glow-in-the-dark stars up (and by some, I mean almost 100!). Then we broke into our stash of glow sticks that were leftover from the 4th of July. I even found a glow-in-the-dark balloon, which Owen loved.

Make a glow-in-the-dark fort for hours of fun! So easy!

We also threw in every toy we have that glows or lights up – it was quite the spectacle! We stayed in that closet til way past bedtime and it was absolutely perfect.
