Back-to-School Goal Setting {FREE Printables!}

August 6, 2015 by Alli 2 Comments

Free printable! Set your kid up for success with these back to school goal sheets!

I hear some of you poor, poor souls are already back to school! That’s just nuts. I’m still in summer-mode over here, and loving it 🙂

But for those who just started, or are about to start, you definitely want to check out these printables! I love the idea of sitting your kids down at the beginning of each year, and talking to them about what they want to accomplish. What better way to get them more invested in learning than to have them create their own goals to work towards?

I put these printables together to get you started, and you can fill in whatever you want!

If you’re feeling stuck, here are some other general ideas on goals your kids can set:

-Be on time to school
-Get good grades (ex: all A’s and B’s)
-Complete all homework assignments
-Be a helper in class
-Learn class objectives (such as multiplication, cursive, etc.)
-Stay fit and active throughout the year!
-Eat healthy lunches

Tailor these to fit the needs/abilities of your kids, or come up with totally different goals! Try and be specific, especially with the older kids.

Whatever the goals are, just having your kids working towards something will help keep them on track all year long. Keep these goals posted where they can see them every day, and talk about them often! Make sure they are doing everything they can to accomplish them all. They will certainly love being able to check these off the list at the end of the year – so help them make it happen!

    Super cute! I love this idea. It’s great for kids to have something to work towards! They learn a lot by setting and making goals!
