First Day of School Signs – Updated! {FREE Printables}

September 1, 2015 by Alli 24 Comments

Perfect for first day of school pictures each year! {Free Printable}

Hello, dear readers! I know what you’re thinking.. didn’t she already post about her First Day of School Signs?? I sure did. You guys seemed to really like them, and I got many sweet emails thanking me for making them available. I loved hearing about your kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews who would be using them on their first day of school. It made me so happy 🙂

A few of you also pointed out that because they said “2015-2016” they could only be used this year, and you wanted to use the same style of sign every year! *Facepalm* I didn’t even think of that! Oops! So after thinking for a bit about how to do this, and let it work for everyone, I realized I should just take out the year completely!

I realize these pictures still include the year, but scroll down to see a collage of what the NEW signs look like!

FREE printable! These cute signs are perfect for the first day of school each year!

So here are my First Day of School Signs, this time without the year (I also added Pre-K). Feel free to print off all of the signs, and store them in the frame that you will use each year. That makes it so easy!

    These are perfect! Love them 🙂 You should also make “last day” signs as well. Maybe you can make some space at the bottom if we wanted to add the school year or even our child’s name. Thanks for making these available!

      Hmm.. try a different browser, maybe? They should open up in new tabs, and you can print each one individually. Let me know if you can’t get it to work!

    Hi Ashley,

    Thanks for the awesome signs! I used the signs back in August when my kids started school! Do you happen to have end of the year signs? Thanks so much!

    I love these! Do you happen to have a Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 sign? Our school labels them differently. 🙂

    Hi,
    Love these signs! But is there anyway you can update the year on them? If not, it’s fine I can use the one without the year! Let me know thanks!

    Love these! One request: Is it possible for you to post the original version in a program where the date is editable? I really did like having the school year on it for reference, but would like to go in and change it each year.

    If not possible, can you share the font that you used for the years, and perhaps I can just print it over the new PDFs.

    thanks!

      I’m sorry, I don’t have the originals anymore! But the font is called KG Two is Better Than one and you can download it for free.

    I love these signs! We just used them for back to school scrapbooking 🙂 I realize people keep asking you for special requests but just wondered if you ever would consider making a matching “interview questions” page? Thanks 🙂
