Which just so happens to be my favorite month. I love October. Cooler weather (which for me, right now, means low 80’s… ugh), apple cider, crunchy leaves, and of course – Halloween! I’m not sure what it is about Halloween that’s so irresistible to me, but it’s simply the best.
I’ve already got Owen’s costume ready, and I’d have Sophie’s done, except that she changes her mind at least 6 times a day. She’s 4… what do you expect? Right now she’s deciding between a unicorn and a fairy princess. Yep, she’s as girly as it gets.
So until she makes up her mind, I’ll be prepping for the big day in other ways! I’ve been having fun with printables lately, so I figured I just had to do some for Halloween.
I picked up these bags of Hershey candy, and created some fun little wrappers to go around them. The bags are massive, and are perfect for handing out candy or for any Halloween parties you might be throwing. They have all of my favorites in there! But considering I bought these a few weeks in advance, our trick-or-treaters better not be expecting any Kit Kat… there’s just no way they’ll last that long 🙂
To put them together, head over HERE to print out the wrappers. Cut them out, and wrap them around the candy. I glued them on using a hot glue gun on the low setting.
I have different sized printables for the different sizes of candy. Here’s a guide, to make sure they all fit the right way:
Happy Halloween: Hershey bar or Twizzlers
Eat at Your Own Risk: Jolly Rancher Chews or Whoppers
Spider: Almond Joy (or you can cut off the sides and use it for Milk Duds)
Boo!: Jolly Rancher Lollipop
Trick or Treat: Kit Kat
Double, Double, Toil and Trouble: Heath
And that’s it! A simple way to spice things up and make handing out candy that much more fun 🙂
You can find these big bags of Hershey candy in the Halloween section of Walmart – with all of the candy! You can check out out all of the bag options online, HERE.
