Bite-sized S’mores

October 21, 2015 by Alli Leave a Comment

These cute little smores are perfect for indoor camping! A great little snack for kids

I simply can’t think of s’mores without thinking of the oh-so-classic movie, The Sandlot. I can’t be the only one! Ham teaching Smalls about his very first s’more will always be one of my favorite scenes. “I haven’t had anything yet… So how can I have some more of nothing?”

You’re killing me, Smalls.

Ah, yes. Both s’mores and The Sandlot bring back all kinds of childhood memories. I might just have to track down a copy of it (do they still sell that movie?!) and relive it all over again.

Make your own tiny little smores!

My sister, Ashley, told me about this fun way to make s’mores indoors, and I knew the kids would love it. Okay… and I knew I’d love it as well.

All you need is:

  • Golden Grahams cereal
  • Chocolate chips
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Toothpicks
  • Candle

Roast your little mallows over the candle, using a toothpick as a stick. Once it’s nice and toasty, transfer it to a piece of cereal with a chocolate chip on top, and finish it off with one more piece of cereal. They are so delicious, and taste just like the full-scale version. Expect better… because everything tastes better when it’s tiny.

The cutest little smores you've ever eaten! SO easy and fun for kids!

This is certainly a fun treat we will have time and time again. It was so much fun, and really simple! And a whole lot easier to clean up than the big ones!
