I’m baaaack! I know you were all on the edge of your seats, waiting with baited breath for my next post. Relax, dear readers, it’s here. And there are many more where this came from.
Wanna know why I’ve been MIA? Well… growing a human is hard work. Yep, we’re expecting monkey #3 in November and are totally stoked! While I’ve been feeling pretty crummy, it hasn’t been as bad as my other pregnancies, so I really can’t complain. But blogging doesn’t mix too well with nausea and headaches :/
Now that I’m out of my first trimester though, hopefully things will settle down and I won’t be feeling like a flu-stricken zombie.
My first project back was really fun, and (more importantly) super easy. Start off by printing off a picture – any picture will do, depending on how hard you want to work. Keep in mind that you’ll need colored paper to match your picture, so you might want to choose one with basic colors.
We chose some simple cartoon pictures, with Sophie’s being the easier flower pot. Then I glued the pictures to white card stock, to beef them up a bit.
Grab some construction paper, making sure you have every color that shows up in your picture. Here’s the best part (according to Sophie): rip the paper up in little chunks!
Take a glue stick and attach the pieces of paper, matching them by color. It’s ok if it looks messy – it’ll all come together!
And here are the finished products!
