Halloween Cake Push-up Pops
Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 16
  • 1 baked cake, cooled (boxed, or recipe of choice)
  • 1 Can of orange frosting
  • 2 Piping bags with medium round and very small round tip OR ziploc bags with corner snipped off
  • Reddi-wip
  • 1 cup candy melts or chocolate, in color of choice
  • Halloween sprinkles
  • 16 Push-up cake pop containers
  • Plastic wrap
  1. Melt candy melts according to package directions and spoon into piping bag with size 1 tip OR spoon into bag and snip off a very small piece of the corner.
  2. Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap and pipe candy melts into design of choice. (You can print out shapes/pictures online, place the plastic wrap on top of the paper, and "trace" the images with the chocolate.) Set aside to dry.
  3. Using a cake pop container as a template, cut out as many circles of cake as you can. Slice the circles in half, horizontally, to make the layers thinner.
  4. Spoon frosting into piping bag OR spoon into a ziploc bag, and snip off 1 corner.
  5. Place 1 cake circle into an assembled cake pop container, and gently push it all the way to the bottom.
  6. Pipe a swirl of frosting on top of first cake layer, then top with another layer of cake.
  7. Repeat with all cake pops.
  8. Dispense a swirl of Reddi-wip on each cake pop, and top with sprinkles and/or chocolate garnishes.
  9. Serve immediately.
